Bin Inventory Management System

The Grossman-Bin Inventory System enables users to store information relating to

the physical architecture of each bin at each bin storage location. When a

commodity is flagged to be managed within the Bin Inventory system, all inputs into

inventory and all movements out of inventory are tracked by bin within the system.

Bin Maintenance stores the physical characteristics of each bin. The Bin Inventory

system tracks the status of each bin as either (Active or Not Active). Bin

Maintenance will also define if the bin is designated as a "Static" bin, meaning it is

reserved for a specifically defined commodity, or as "Dynamic", indicating the bin

can be used for different commodities.

Within Bin Maintenance the maximum capacity of the bin is displayed and the "On

Hand" quantity is displayed and graphed.

The Bin Master Scan screen displays a summary total for each commodity tracked

and enables drill down to the underlying detail records.

Weighted average grades maintained on each commodity tracked within the Bin

       Inventory Management system.

Comprehensive Bin Adjustment Entry functions enable the operator to easily adjust

bin quantities (with reason codes appended to each detail adjustment record.

Using the Bin Inventory Adjustment transaction you can easily move inventory

       between bin locations.

All Adjustments made to the Bin Inventory are recorded and a detail Adjustment

       Audit report is immediately created.
